Stroller Pin Obsession

I recently had my daughter baptized and I was looking all over for items for her to have blessed by the priest who did her baptism. My husband and I are both of catholic faith and this was something we really looked forward to.

In my search for items, I came across the most STUNNING stroller pins on Instagram (every shoppers delight). I honestly think they are so unique and special and I love the seller I purchased mine from, so, I wanted to share it with you guys!

Not only was the final product beautiful, but I really love when customer service is outstanding and this was one of the best Etsy sellers I have ever ordered from! So sweet and accommodating!

You can find "The Yin To Your Pin" on Etsy HERE

Each and every pin can be custom made to your specific liking. And, this definitely isn't only for special occasions. A lot of people just affix them to their child's stroller. It is even great for backpacks and is an amazing keepsake that your child can keep FOREVER. That is what I love most about it. It is a unique concept, that can grow with your child into their adult life.

There are not many custom made pieces I can see my daughter ACTUALLY CONTINUING TO USE when she is older. BUT, I think anyone at any age could appreciate this! The pins are great for diaper bags, onesies, bris pillows and MORE!

Any expecting mom I know is going to get one of these from me!!! I simply adore them!

My daughters pin has a lot of meaning behind it. That is why I want to keep it with her until she is old enough to understand the symbolism behind why I chose each charm. And, I am sure she will want to hold onto it forever!

You can check out the Sarit's instagram page that she has dedicated to her brand and showcasing her unique pins HERE

It truly was a beautiful day and I will be posting more great little shops I found, here on the blog. So, if you are expecting a baby or know someone who is, STAY TUNED!!!

Lara Bar Nut Butter

I love reporting to you guys when I find something I truly love. And, one thing I truly LOVE is SNACKS!

I recently stopped by costco and saw a new item from Lara Brand. If you eat LaraBar bars, you definitely want to read on. Oh, and if you love delicious chocolate goodness, definitely keep reading!

I picked up Lara Cashew and Almond Butter in the flavor "Chocolate Coconut". It reminds me of a familiar delicious hazelnut spread. Except this is loaded with nutrition and is my favorite thing NON-GMO. That means no genetically modified organisms are in this delicious snack! So, it is definitely a snack you can enjoy without feeling guilty!

I am going to throw it in my smoothie tomorrow!

The consistency is like chunky peanut butter. But, the taste is SERIOUSLY like an explosion of deliciousness in your mouth. The chocolate coconut mixture is DELICIOUS!

They also have Banana Nut flavor, which I haven't tried. But, on my next Costco trip, I will be picking it up!

I have been having it as a mid-day snack on toast, with a cup of chamomile tea and it is a total mom pick me up!!!

Let me know your thoughts ladies and gents! It is seriously DELICIOUS and NUTRITIOUS!

Fiber One Deliciousness!

I am always on a quest to be and stay healthy. With a baby in tow, I have to do most of my eating on the go. Usually, that means snack bars and trail mix is on the agenda for me!

I recently found at my local Costco, some delicious fiber one bars. They're great because they do not have any artificial colors or flavors and now they're 25% less fat than they once were!

My favorite is the lemon flavor. I love lemon ices, so sometimes for a treat, I throw it in the freezer quickly (just to get a cold sensation) and use it as my "treat" when I am winding down with my daughter, after dinner!

They also have a fiber one oats and chocolate bar, which I use sometimes in the morning when I have to rush out the door as a breakfast replacement. Or a "hold me over" bar. They're filling and satisfying and not as fattening as a typical meal replacement bar. Which is great!

I always get my fiber one bars at Costco because they always have the widest variety of different flavors and it just makes it easier to stock up on them, Costco is so convenient for that reason! And, they have HEALTHY food options which makes meal planning and snacking, easier!

While you're here, head over to a great pinterest board with ideas for on the go snacking HERE

Next time you're in Costco, grab a box and thank me later!

The ONE THING No One Tells You About Parenting

Making the choice to become a parent, is the most intense decision a human being can make. To decide to bring a child into this world is something that you will not understand until you become a parent.

I eat, sleep and breathe 24/7 with my daughter. She will be 16 months and I have never had one night away from her and I would never have it any other way. I don't feel like I am missing out on anything. If anything the times I do go out to get my hair done or something like that, I feel I missed out on valuable time with her.

No one on this earth can prepare you or explain to you the amount of love you're going to have for your baby. I thought I knew how much I loved her when I was pregnant. But, the very instant she entered this world my life as I knew it changed forever. And, I am so grateful and feel so lucky to be Juliana's mom.

So, while there will be plenty of people to tell you about the sleepless nights you will endure or which boppy pillow is the best. There is just NO ONE that can explain the love you will feel.

This is for any mama in their ninth month of pregnancy. When you can't even see your feet. When you can not even roll out of bed, because your belly is so big. It will be so worth it! More than you can imagine!

..So TRUE.. (Via google images)

This is also for the brand new parents getting by on 2 hours of sleep (if that) that stage passes and then you miss it so much!

It is such an overwhelming feeling of love being a parent that, NO ONE can explain to you. Only YOU can feel it yourself.

Hopefully, this post will help someone, somewhere :)
