Electric Hair Brush Review

This is certainly not your mama's hairbrush! I have 2 electric hairbrushes and I have to say I am in love with both. This review is for the Seen One electric hair brush straightener.

It is a 3 in 1 electric hair brush. It helps detangle your hair. It heats up to help straighten your hair without having to break out the hair straightener. And, it has an anion massager which makes your hair really sleek.

Now, I do have to say, I do not think this would help people with really curly hair. I have straight hair that is always puffy and frizzy and has to be smoothed out to look polished and not like I just rolled out of bed.

This is great for me because I have very little time to style my hair. But, I do love having sleek straight hair. Since, it is only on occasion that I curl it.

I just run this brush through my hair as I would any other brush and the heat and ions cause my hair to look smooth and almost exactly as if I used a straightener to achieve the results it gives me. I will update the blog with a picture of my hair, when I have time to put makeup on. But, being as though this has been an extremely busy week, I have been makeup free for most of it. But, my hair has been on point.

To me, this is the ultimate mommy tool. Or, perfect for anyone with straight to wavy hair. I am not sure if it would work on curly hair. But, I could be wrong. But, I got it on amazon and they have an amazing return policy, so if you do want to try it and you're a curly girly, I suggest getting it from amazon.

I got mine HERE

This will save you a ton of time!!! Thank me later!

Natural Hair Heat Protectant - Organic & Cruelty Free

Flat ironing can damage your hair. They can heat up to 400 degrees which is enough to fry and damage healthy hair. Curling irons and even constant blow drying can damage hair. Add in bleaching or coloring your hair and it will of course become dry and brittle.

I was in search of a natural, organic heat protectant. After reading about all of the silicone in conventional heat protectant.

I came across ISA Professional EVAO Extra Virgin Organic Argan Oil. I have been using it for about 2 months now and I absolutely love it. It will be a staple in my hair routine.

Argan Oil is natures heat protectant!

I have really straight hair. However, after years of coloring and bleaching and using the hot iron and hot tools on my hair. And, also after pregnancy. I noticed a huge change in my hair. It was breaking at the top and my ends were so split and damaged. I apply this to dry hair sometimes as a pre-treatment. But, my favorite way to use it is on damp hair, I then let my hair air dry, since I have been trying not to blow dry it.

Then after all of that, I iron it quickly. Just to decrease the frizz and puffiness. And iron out any waves in my hair. It has really improved the health of my hair. It protects from heat damage without the use of those thermal sprays which are full of unnecessary chemicals. If you are looking to ditch the chemicals from your daily routine, this is a great product to start with. Your hair and body will thank you.

Also, this isn't just limited to your hair. When my elbows or knees are dry I throw some of this on and they are instantly smooth. Not forever, but definitely a quick

It is USDA Organic, EcoCert, and cruelty free.

Vegetarian Friendly Baked Eggs In a Muffin Tin Recipe

In an effort to eat a healthy breakfast in the mornings. I have done breakfast prep. With my daughter being extremely active in the mornings it was nearly impossible to make a good decision on what to eat for breakfast. Most of the time I was reaching for the nearest thing, which usually ended up being cookies or a muffin. No nutrition and tons of calories. NO BUENO!

Solution: Eggs in a muffin tin!

Here is what I used and I eyeball everything. I am Italian, this is how my mom cooks and her mom cooks and how my dad cooks and so on. So, if something looked like it needed a bit more, I added it. Here is a guideline, I don't love the term recipe lol

Ingredients:

Butter to grease the pan (I love Kerrygold)

7 eggs scrambled with a dash of Himalayan Pink Salt & a dash of white or black pepper

Vegetables of your choosing (I used 1/2 zucchini and chopped up a quarter of an onion)

Splash of Rice Milk (you can use dairy milk, almond milk etc.)

Horizon Organic Mozzarella Cheese

Optional Meat substitute or BACON or HAM or whatever you like I used Lightlife Meatless Smart Bacon (2 Strips)

Directions:

- Preheat oven to 400 degrees

- Grease muffin tin pan liberally with butter

- Grab measuring cup crack 7 Eggs into it

- Add a splash of rice milk

- Whisk eggs until they are well mixed and look "fluffy"

- Add ingredients directly to your measuring cup -  vegetables, meat substitute, cheese, salt, pepper

- Give it a good stir

- Pour directly from measuring cup into the muffin tins

- Place in oven and check after 15 mins. Continue checking every 5 minutes until the eggs puff up and you can see that they are cooked throughout. Mine took 20 minutes.

This was my first time making this so it does not look pretty. But I ate two with one half of an English muffin and I had a balanced breakfast. Once they cooled, I placed them in a ziplock and enjoyed the rest for the next few days, in the morning.

Let me know if you make this!

Spring Dreaming - White Makeup Brushes With Rose Gold Trim

The weather in New York where I am for a bit with my family has me dreaming of Spring. And, dreaming of sidewalks with no snow!

But, I am preparing for Spring and for my return back home to Florida. I found these GORGEOUS synthetic makeup brushes with beautiful Rose Gold trim. They are my first Spring like purchase.

I used them about 5 times for makeup application and there has been no shedding. Shedding is sometimes an issue with some synthetic makeup brushes. But, I really want to try to stay away from natural brushes. I own a few. But, from now on I am going with synthetic.

These have the right amount of glamour to make me feel great while putting on makeup? Does anyone else think like this? LOL

I LOVE the quality and have already washed them and there was barely any loss of bristles. They are no name and I have come to the conclusion that it really does not make any difference. The rose gold trim sold me on these and they have proved to be awesome!!
